What can I say? It's been a hell of a summer.

Thanks to everyone who visited me at Fan Expo and picked up a copy of my book. Ya'll are too cool for school, and I will gladly rake your lawn this fall.

After finishing artistic duties on The Vampire Conspiracy back in June, I started concept work on an exciting indie short for a talented writer and fine gentleman, Phil McClorey, of Furious Comics!

Not long after my prep work began I bought a new house, which was a hellish ordeal that promises to haunt my dreams from now to eternity. Consequently, I had to find full-time work in a painfully dull office job in order to pay for my new status of living. Throw on top of that a baby on the way and a ton of renovations to said house, I was left with very little time to draw. In fact, for a couple months I didn't even have a work area or internet. These days, that's two steps away from being a hobo heating a tin of beans over a flaming garbage bin in a train yard.

However, like the title of this entry says, I am back to work! With a new work table and fresh batch of supplies, I'm hungry for more comic book storytelling! Picking up where I left off on The Mask of Cthulhu--an exciting and inventive spin on Lovecraft mythology by writer extraordinaire Phil McClorey (remember the name!)--I'm furiously completing thumbnail sketches and page layouts for this ten page ripper. As far as my future endeavors go, I'm looking forward to collaborating with my new friends at McHozer Comics [mchozers.blogspot.com], as well as a follow-up to The Vampire Conspiracy with writer/director Marc Morgenstern!
